Gameweek 8 review

Well, welcome back Fantasy Premier League.

We all missed you.

Us veterans of at least two seasons are used to seeing those big hitters deliver big points and, so far in 2015/16, no one had. For me, anyway.

Until this week.

Oh oh, Segio.

Goal goal goal goal goal captain Aguero.

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for Kun to be my captain this week. If only I added a triple captain caveat. Never mind.

I’m still happy with this lot.

I guess the only glaring omission from my team is Alexis Sanchez who, yet again delivered a 3-bonus-points performance with a brilliant brace against United.
Credit to everyone in my league who had the trio of KDB, Kun captain and the little Chile goal machine.

Dam, that’s a pretty sight…

Elsewhere in Gameweek 8, there were plenty more points up for grabs, with Payet, Vardy and Christian Eriksen all putting in solid showings. I wanted to go for the Dane over Mata. No matter.

Thanks also to everyone who got involved in another edition of #FFMLive.

The Saturday morning pre-deadline time worked well and I really enjoyed doing it.

Here’s a recording.

As always, feedback is welcome.

How did your team do? Let me know below…
